I went there with some coworkers, had a great meal. All the foods, specially elish, dal, sabji etc are really upscale. Recommend it if you want to have a casual meal. Update: On my next visit to Khulna, i went there every single nights of my 15-day stay in Khulna. The waiters are well mannered and always ready at your service. The ambience is really great, each of the desi food items are tasty. I am telling it, because i tried every food items apart from beef. The restaurant owner has a degree in hotel management and knows what he is doing. If you want to have meal of desi food items, this is the best place in Khulna.

This restaurant always ensures It's food quality. The service is satisfactory according to the pricing. The Kacchi biriyani and BBQ items are most popular.

One of the best restaurants in khulna. Tbh I didn’t find any other shop as good as it. They use oil properly, food tastes very good and well decorated. Only problem is you need to have time as they take 15-20mins to prepare food. I have tried: Mutton kichuri: This is a must try item there. Provides mutton chui jhal in a separate dish. They also give onion fry and eggplant (begun) slice fry with it. Mutton kacchi: More than average I would say but cannot compare with Dhaka. But it’s good. Enough meet, tasty chutney and a potato (alu) make it complete. You can get the flavour black peeper in rice and might find it slightly bland. Chingri vorta: Tasted it a little. It was good. Dim vorta: Good to go. Chicken bbq: So good with the sauce and paratha. Chicken reshmj kabab: Tasted very good. Oveall do visit if you are in khulna or planning to go there.

I first discovered Deshi Kitchen back in 2018 when I was a university student, and it quickly became one of my favorite spots. Their Chicken BBQ was the standout dish for me—it was perfectly grilled, tender, and bursting with flavor. Even after all these years, their BBQ still remains one of my top choices, with its rich, smoky taste that leaves you craving more. Their Morog Polao is equally impressive, with juicy chicken and aromatic, well-spiced rice. I’ve also tried their Bengali dishes, Kebab items, and Kacchi Biriyani—everything has been consistently delicious. A few years ago, their quality dipped, but after moving to a new location, they improved quickly. They not only improved the food but also updated their interior and service, creating an even better dining experience.

Deshi Kitchen has been one of the most consistent restaurants of Khulna. And as I mentioned consistency, not many restaurants are in the list. Starting from its bangla cuisine to the options of snacks, it's a top notch restaurant who delivers it consistently well. And we all know consistency is a key game changer in restaurant business. Also, the owners have mastered the formula of winning customer's heart!

Nestled in the heart of the city, Deshi Kitchen is a culinary haven that transcends the ordinary dining experience. The environment is really good with soft lighting and the taste of the food is delicious. Overall, the food, service and the environment is really satisfying and I would definitely recommend this restaurant for having a bite.

I recently visited Deshi Kitchen and ordered their biriyani and borhani. While the biriyani was just average and not exceptional, the borhani was an absolute standout. It was exceptionally good! The overall environment of the restaurant was delightful and created a positive dining experience. Despite the average biriyani, I would still recommend this restaurant for the incredible borhani and overall great service.

Dining at Deshi Kitchen was an absolute joy! Celebrating my friend's birthday in this warm and inviting atmosphere was truly memorable. The star of the evening was undeniably the biryani—a true masterpiece of flavors, with aromatic spices infusing each perfectly cooked grain of rice. The entire menu showcased the chef's dedication to quality and authenticity. Impeccable service and a staff that went above and beyond added to the positive experience. The birthday celebration was a success, thanks to the team's attention to detail.

One of the finest biriyanis in Khulna, this restaurant truly stands out not just for its food but also for its inviting ambiance. The decor is charming, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. We visited during the holy month of Ramadan, and to our delight, they graciously offered us two complimentary pieces of dates to break our fast, which was a thoughtful touch. The prices for the food are incredibly reasonable, making it even more appealing. Overall, it was a delightful experience that made our evening special.Thank you guys.
